This pattern is written for crocheters who find traditional crochet patterns challenging to understand. Granny square instructions are written out line by line, which may be tedious for advanced crocheters.
The sleeves do not contain stitch counts because it’s a seamless sleeve in the round. I give details on how to easily begin & end the round. It’s extremely easy to see if you’ve missed a stitch in the sleeve round, so if you put the specified stitch in each chain space of the sleeve, you’re doing it correctly, which doesn’t require counting stitches.
It’s size inclusive & will fit sizes XS to 6XL. Pick out your 2 favorite colors & make this beautiful granny square project. Granny squares are quite suitable for beginners and assembling this skirt pattern isn’t a lot more difficult than a granny square blanket. The Festival Granny Square Skirt is made up of multiple granny squares. They are then assembled according to the granny square schematic shown in the pattern, to create a crochet skirt. An enclosed elastic waistband is attached to the skirt to complete the project. The stitches used are basic and the granny squares are beginner friendly.
The skirt features an elastic waistband that will be custom to your waist measurement. The pattern demonstrates how to measure for and create the elastic waistband detail.
